Case Study

In 2023, Luxe Design will help Amrutha transform her Vizag house into a Scandinavian retreat. Having a 71,000/- budget, this project brief focused on making it a warm and minimalist space with functional feels to complete the Scandinavian design idea.

The perfection of this state of the project included aspects of interior architectural and design solutions regarding the space and all its elements from the construction to the finish. Besides, the design aimed at achieving a cohesive harmonious environment with Amrutha’s personal style, which represents an all-inclusive design of key elements applied to Scandinavian aesthetics.

Amrutha’s home was to be taken from a generically styled basic layout and outdated fittings to a modernistic Scandinavian retreat. Working to allow more light inside the home, better transitions, and updating the fittings to specification—all this within the parameters of the budget.
The project touched on Scandinavian simplicity, functionality, and naturalness. Luxe Design worked with totally natural materials: they had a neutral palette, minimalist furniture, but, most of all, they allowed natural light using big windows, white walls, and light wood flooring. Also, commitment to sustainable materials was at the top of the list in the creation of a healthy living space.

A budget of 70,000/- was managed effectively for Luxe Design, where all the critical aspects from high-quality, cost-effective materials to relationships with local artisans came in, and investment was made on introducing the high/low mix. Whenever possible, existing pieces were reused through refurnishing in order to allow high/low-mix investment.
