Project Architect

Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, excellent design skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Planning:
  • Develop and present design proposals using CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
  • Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional, aesthetic designs.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Project Management:
  • Oversee the entire construction process, from initial design through to project completion.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Manage and review project documentation, contracts, and reports.
• Client Interaction:
  • Communicate effectively with clients to present ideas, provide updates, and address any concerns.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Handle client feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs and plans.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other architects, designers, and technical staff to achieve project goals.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior architects and interns.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of architectural strategies and solutions.
    
    
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Architect (depending on regional requirements).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D modeling tools (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in architectural design and planning.
  • Excellent understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Exceptional creativity, artistic skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with sustainable design practices is a plus.
